About 2° Investing Initiative
The 2° Investing Initiative (2DII) was founded in 2012 and is an independent, non-profit think tank working to align financial markets and regulations with the Paris Agreement goals. Our work concentrates on four main research areas: Retail Investing, Impact, Nature-finance and Emerging markets. 2DII is funded through a combination of grants from EU research and innovation programmes, national governments and private foundations.
Its team of finance, climate, and risk experts develop research, tools, and policy insights to help financial institutions and regulators hasten and adapt to the low-carbon transition. 2DII now counts 10 staff members from 6 different nationalities.
