Climate Stewardship Direct dialogue with a company and the exercise of voting rights has been shown to be one of the most effective strategies for positive climate impact by investors. The British NGO InfluenceMap has rated large asset managers in terms of their climate influence (so-called climate stewardship). The better an asset manager's climate stewardship, the better the rating. Both company data and external data were used for this purpose. The rating is the same for all funds of the asset manager. The ISS ESG Fund Rating includes environmental, social and corporate governance factors. More stars mean that a fund performs relatively better than its peer group. An absolute ESG score is displayed in the detail view. However, these are not indicators of the fund's impact to have made companies more sustainable or to make them more sustainable in the future.
